Welcome to my Jim Glaser Website.

If you are a first time visitor, I invite you to browse through this site and learn a little about Jim. Jim is a forty year veteran in the world of contemporary country music having started his singing career in the late 50's, as one brother of three, later becoming the well known group, Tompall And The Glaser Brothers, whose songs were a mainstay in country music stations in the 60's and 70's. Many of those songs were either written or co-written by Jim and one especially, "Woman, Woman", co-written with Jimmy Payne and sung by Gary Puckett and The Union Gap, remains a classic memory for many of us.

Here you will discover more about Jim; that he sang the beautiful background harmony in Marty Robbins classic, "El Paso"; that he has been associated with other country greats, such as Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline and Ralph Emery and as part of Tompall And The Glaser Brothers, was a member of The Grand Ole Opry for fifteen years.

Tompall And The Glaser Brothers were later to separate.  Tompall joined the 'Outlaw' movement while Jim went on to record three albums of his own in the early to mid '80's, having hits such as "When You're Not A Lady",  which held a record thirty-four week run on the national charts and "You're Gettin' To Me Again" , reaching the coveted number one position in 1984. It was in this year that Jim was voted "Top New Male Vocalist Of The Year", awarded by The Academy Of Country Music.

This is for those of you who do not know him and some memories for those of you that do.  As you browse through this site, you will be able to hear songs as sung by Jim from his past recordings, to include
preview clips from his newly released album, "Me And My Dream".  I am proud to be able to feature this new album along with Jim's other accomplishments.
